Origin and history

The pink geranium is native to Africa. Known as balcony ornaments, only a handful of fragrant geraniums are distilled and used for their essential oil (roseum, odoratissimum, asperum). Very popular in cosmetics and perfumery, essential oil of rose geranium is exploited in Egypt, China, but the most popular is that of the Bourbon type, produced in Madagascar or on the island of Reunion.

Suggested Use:


Add a few drops in your diffuser or a bowl of hot water. For all other uses,
mix a few drops with a carrier oil (like olive, jojoba, almond, coconut oil) or with shampoo, hand soap, etc. Please consult a qualified aromatherapist or essential oil book for dilution ratios.

Indications

Rose Geranium essential oil is made for your skin. It erases skin imperfections, restores radiance to the complexion, it is anti-aging and its very delicate fragrance will make it a very pleasant treatment.

Instructions

Oral use: 2 drops of organic rose geranium essential oil, 3 times a day with a little honey, syrup or on a lozenge, for inflammation.

On the skin: Mix 5 drops of organic rose geranium essential oil + 5 drops of organic argan or apricot kernel vegetable oil, in cosmetic or dermatological care.

In diffusion: In atmospheric diffusion, the essential oil of geranium rose deodorizes your rooms, invigorates the psyche, and comforts.
