Rosemary is a small shrub of the Lamiaceae family. It is an integral part of the Provençal landscape and Mediterranean "clichés". In cultivation, rosemary can reach 2 m, its needle-shaped leaves are evergreen, green on top and gray-white on the underside. Its flowers, presented in clusters, take on a pale blue or purple color during the flowering period.

Origin and history

Originally from the Mediterranean basin, rosemary covers the sunny scrublands of the South. A condiment herb, its fresh or dried leaves are used in “sun cuisine”: bouquet garni, marinade, grilled meats, sauces. A melliferous plant, honey from rosemary is fragrant, sweet and delicate. Finally, the list of phytotherapeutic virtues of rosemary is as long to describe as its history and its legends.

Modes of use

Consult a physician before any therapeutic use or oral treatment. Camphor rosemary essential oil is contraindicated for pregnant women and young children.

2 drops of organic camphor rosemary essential oil + 6 drops of organic sesame vegetable oils, massage into cramps and aches.

Synergy: Wintergreen, tarragon

In energy aromatherapy, rosemary essential oil is associated with the solar plexus and 3rd eye chakras, “Manipura” and “Ajna”. Its colors are yellow and indigo.
